New Metzeler tyres to be unveiled by Guy Martin and Aerosmith’s Steve Tyler!
Yes, that’s right: Aerosmith frontman and Dirico Motorcycles USA spokesman Steve Tyler, plus Metzeler rider Guy Martin will both be on hand to reveal two new tyres during the forthcoming Milan Bike Show in November.
Metzeler are hosting a star-studded event to introduce the new rubber. Tyler, a big custom bike fan, will unveil the custom touring ME 888 MARATHON™ Ultra tyres in a Whitewall version and new 23-inch front size, while road racer Guy will reveal the new SPORTEC™ M7 RR supersport tyres.
The event, with free entrance and open bar, in collaboration with Dirico Motorcycles USA and Rolling Stone Italy, will take place on Tuesday, 5 November starting at 9pm at Fonderia Napoleonica in the Motoquartiere of Milan.
All motorcyclists and fans will have the opportunity to gather together at this special evening of fun and good music guaranteed by Bud Spencer Blues Explosion and to support in the preview of the new tyres, that will be marketed from the beginning of 2014.
Steven Tyler is well known as singer and frontman of the Aerosmith rock band, and, along with Mark Dirico and Stephen Talarico, he founded Dirico Motorcycles USA back in 2007, specialising in creating custom motorcycles. They have always exclusively used Metzeler tyres for their bikes.
Metzeler’s new supersport tyre, SPORTEC™ M7 RR, has been developed from experience in road racing competitions where, together with Guy Martin, they triumphed this year in the Southern 100 and Ulster Grand Prix in addition to countless podiums and successes with other supported riders during the TT and the North West 200.
