ISDE 2013: France and Metzeler are both winners!
France has won the 88th edition of the International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) event, beating both America and Italy to claim overall victory.
The French team, captained by Metzeler rider and 2013 World Champion of the WEC E1 Antoine Meo, won the championship by increasing their lead daily and dominating the event as they did in 2012, too.
The U.S claimed second place while Italy, thanks to an impressive streak of stage wins from yet another Metzeler rider and 2013 2013 WEC E2 class champion Alex Salvini, took the final podium position.
Metzeler has had a fantastic year in off-road competition. After the victories at the Enduro World Championship in the three main classes, plus this latest ISDE, these events have been dominated by Metzeler riders and tyres. Metzeler was also official sponsor of the 2013 ISDE race by supplying Six Days Extreme tyres and many riders, including Meo and Salvini.
In addition, Metzeler organised a special event at the ISDE, a race dedicated for amateur enduro riders competing in the C1 and C2 classes, taking place on the same special test track ridden by the event’s pro riders, too.
The 2014 edition of the International Six Days of Enduro will take place in Argentina.
